My History with AfterShock: From Youth to Co-Leader
I've been involved with the youth group for quite a few years now. I first started coming to youth group as a youth, and I loved every minute of it. Our head youth leader, Megan Polowski, gave myself and a few of my friends many opportunities to become involved with the leadership at youth group. She invited us to become a part of the youth group committees, gave us responsibilities, and mentored us as we grew as leaders.
In the fall of 2011, Megan was called to serve in another place. This gave my friends and I the opportunity to step up and lead AfterShock as a team. We felt prepared to take on the challenges and joys of leading the youth group, and so that's what we are doing today. |
